Theatre kid turned folk-rocker, Jaron Chidiac, is gearing up to take the West Coast folk scene by storm. His classically trained, soul-drenched voice is a melodic force of nature, gliding effortlessly between poetic and gentle with a storm of rasp. The songs themselves are impressive compositions supplementing Jaron’s powerhouse vocal performances. For just a man and his guitar, he encompasses the unique capacity to fill the space in your ears and soul.

Born and raised in Prince George, Jaron took to musical theatre early in life and gained extensive stage experience with the Excalibur Theatre Company. After nearly a decade of performing, he bought his first guitar fresh out of high school and moved to Victoria a couple years after. He continued to act and play, and he quickly became a regular on the local open mic circuit. 

Three years into living in Victoria, out of work and on a whim, Jaron moved to Vancouver. His experience in the theatre and playing the open mics gave him newfound confidence and set the stage for his entrance into the Vancouver scene. Shortly after moving, Jaron found himself in his first professional studio, where he would go on to meet his future bandmates in Belcarra. With Belcarra, Jaron recorded another EP, toured and became finalists in the Best In Vancouver, performing alongside the likes of Hey Ocean and The Brevet. 

Jaron recently recorded his first solo EP at legendary Warehouse Studios. His first single, Sun Wolf, was released in October 2019, with the rest of the EP coming in 2020. Keep an eye out for this Canadiana songbird as he will soon be imprinting you with his ferocious talent.

Vancouver’s Focus Your Audio are truly a dynamic musical duo. The new band consists of the wildly talented Bobby McAloney and Sarah McArthur. They are impossibly well suited and illuminate one another’s generous skills. Their music seamlessly weaves together the best parts of Folk, Americana and Rock and Roll. Sarah’s voice is a sonic avalanche packed with passion and depth while Bobby provides the perfect musical landscape around it. Their chemistry together is palpable in their material.  They emulate a natural passion that is impossible to fake. 

Sarah grew up in small town Ontario then moved to the Maritimes and comes from a musical family, it’s in her blood and runs deep within her. Bobby grew up in Coquitlam, BC and started playing music at a young age. He has played in an array of established bands such as the esteemed Modern Day Poets. They have both travelled the extensive and dusty road of the music industry before finding one another. 

Focus Your Audio is a celebration both of them discovering their sound, in all of it’s emotive and vulnerable glory. The east coast charm and west coast grit flawlessly fuse together in their music.

Darby Yule (The Yule Brothers) // 

From humble beginnings to a successful duo the journey of The Yule Brothers has involved determination, family, and grit every step of the way. Unbreakable and defiantly alternative, their anthemic style of Singer-Songwriter Indie Rock is genuine and bold. Born in the logging town of Prince George, BC, Canada Darby and Erin Yule have accomplished more in 7 years through pure-grit and a love for the craft than most do in a lifetime. True singer-songwriter personalities mixed with an early love for Punk Rock helped Darby and Erin create a style that they can say is truly their own.
