CELEBRATE DIWALI WITH SALIM SULEIMAN !!!

SALIM SULEIMAN , the first Ismaili Muslim composers , are coming for their ever musical concert in Vancouver on Saturday,November 1st at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Born in Bhuj, Kutch in Gujarat to well-known music composer Sadruddin Merchant, Salim learned piano from Trinity College of Music, London while Suleiman horned his skills in Tabla from Taufiq Qureshi & Ustad Zakir Hussein. The brothers got their first break in Sanjay Gupta's  HAMESHA and won accolades for their composition in R.G.Varma's BHOOT & Karan Johar's KAAL and since then,
have composed in movies like IQBAL, NEAL N' NIKKI , CHAK DE INDIA, FASHION, RAB NE BANA DI JODI , HEROINE, BAND BAJAA BARAAT, LADIES VS RICKY BEHL, ROCKET SINGH, AAJA NACHLE, DOR , KURBAAN and the recently released MARDAANI. A regular of Yash Raj Films and favourite of Madhur Bandarkar, the musical duo has performed all over the world and as per KAMAL SHARMA, the President of Kamal's Video Palace & KVP Entertainers, ' It's an honor to have artists of the calibre of Salim & Suleiman '. Accompanied by back up vocals, engineers & Mumbai's best musicians, the group will also have the talented SHWETA PANDIT and the Indian Idol 2013 Winner VIPUL MEHTA.
