Vancouver welcomes Maykel Blanco & Salsa Mayor, one of Cuba’s most popular orchestras, performing in Canada for the first time. Maikel Blanco stands out with the rare, exceptional record of having been the youngest musician in Cuba to ever lead a mega-popular 14-piece band when he was at the tender age of 23. Over the years, his Salsa Mayor has solidified their reputation as a high-energy, innovative ensemble that just can’t stop placing hit after hit in the island’s top charts.

Come see the band’s very first appearance in Canada on August 5th, at Red Room Ultra Bar. They will deliver a selection of the most popular songs they’ve played during the past 10 years of continuous success.
