From the beautifully turbulent sprawl of Vancouver, BC comes the sounds of Fellow Kids. The quartet masterfully blends rock music with elements of pop and indie, with lyrics that explore the uncomfortable realities of introversion and finding one's place in this ever-changing world.

The group’s sound is built upon the elaborate alliance of bassist Ian Lavery and drummer Ryan Ewanchuk, who find their place somewhere between rock and funk-inspired grooves. Dancing above that foundation is guitarist Jamie Gordon, whose expressions add atmosphere and depth to every song he touches. Focusing on that sound is a singer and guitarist Navin Sundar, who acts as a rhythmic anchor and a breath of humility to the group’s eclectic sound.

Since 2015, the group has never ceased to find new ways to express themselves, and that is most evident in their newest music released throughout the tumultuous years of 2020 and 2021. Dark yet uplifting tracks like ‘Faded’ and ‘Blacklight’ are perfect soul-searching anthems for late nights on the town. The emotional ‘Afterglow’ offers a window into heartache dressed as an indie rock ballad. Rounding off the vast breadth of the band's capabilities is ‘Fix’; a simple rock track that anyone who has needed to get away from it all can relate to. 

With the industry poised to come back to life, Fellow Kids are focused on finishing their first LP with Tom Dobrzanski at Monarch Studios (Vancouver, BC), with plans to share their music in creative and exciting new ways. The band’s artistry is truly unique and full of soul and has a level of honesty that can be hard to come by in the modern world of music. While lyrically the band may saunter with the bleak, Fellow Kids’ have never been more focused and poised for the future.
