ORRA
Vancouver-based indie pop band, ORRA, hums narratives of early adulthood beneath swelling synthesizers and punchy drums. ORRA blends the danceable grooves of ABBA with the edge of alt-pop artists like Lorde. The songwriting duo consists of singer/key player Sarah Orr and drummer Cam McGregor, and are supported by touring members Ayla Bryn (bass, vocals) and John Marvin Scott (guitar). ORRA has performed at iconic Vancouver venues like The Biltmore Cabaret, The Roxy, and The Cobalt Cabaret. ORRA has been featured in blogs such as Indie Underrated and CanadianBeats, receiving praise for addictive melodies and danceable arrangements. ORRA’s tracks have been played on stations like Radio Western, KEXP-FM Seattle, and Kootenay Co-Op Radio. Over the past year, ORRA’s Spotify streams have increased by 202%.
Most recently, ORRA was awarded the Demo Recording Program grant from Creative BC. ORRA was also named a top 10 finalist for the Play MPE Caster Emerge program, and is currently being promoted to radio across North America via MTR.

Four Good Emperors
Based in North Vancouver, BC, this up and coming group have steadily been working on their development and branding. With two previous releases in 2024, this year will have their focus on releasing their first EP, as well as branching out from their local community to head towards surrounding areas to connect with a larger audience. With only two months of writing together, they recorded their first demo in 2023 “Keep or Forget” which later became their first release in April 2024 following a family and friends show. Shortly after their second release “In Outta Love” mid November, 2024, they were invited to perform in January, 2025 at the famous Fox Cabaret, resulting in a successfully packed club performing along side artists, “Myles From Home” and “Anna Katarina”. Since then, they have been featured on two episodes of bc unsigned radio and are slowly starting to build their fanbase across Vancouver as well as through streaming services and social media. Their music offers a fresh contemporary twist on timeless vintage tones. By blending soul, r&b, funk rock and psychedelic sounds, they pay homage to their inspirations mostly rooted from the sixties and seventies eras. Their close bond off the stage is brought on stage welcoming the crowd with an inviting stage presence to move and groove, encouraging audience participation through diverse performances of originals and covers.
