Their finale will include founding member Eric Wilson joining the Quartet to perform Schubert’s sublime cello quintet. “The Emerson performances represented an extraordinary fusion of experience and authority with audacity and freshness.”(The Boston Globe)

Johannes Brahms: String Quartet in A minor, Opus 51, No.2

Our first concert with this Spanish ensemble. “Virile, clean, surging with expression, the Cuarteto Casals’ sound is arresting… playing of extreme technical perfection yet with life bursting from every note. I left in seventh heaven.” (The Times, UK)
