Composed of 3 small town boys who found themselves (and each other) at a crossroads in life, Friday Night Fires is a rock and roll band with a heart of gold. Hailing from all across Canada, Friday Night Fires first came together at a small open mic night in Kamloops, BC. From there, they developed their signature sound, weaving together elements of folk, rock and roll, and rattlesnake soul.
Since forming two years ago, Friday Night Fires has been relentlessly playing shows all over B.C. Memorable shows include opening for Shred Kelly as well as the Trews in Kamloops, B.C. Since moving to Vancouver, the band has competed in both the Best of Vancouver and the Launch Project, being finalists in the former. Their shows are both high energy and heartbreaking, bringing you back to a time that never existed but you wish had.

Tess Anderson is a singer, songwriter, and music producer from Vancouver, BC. Trained as both a pianist and a vocalist, Tess brings her jazz background to the world of pop-country music. She graduated from Nimbus School of Recording and Media in 2018, where she built her skill set and perfected her style, studying audio engineering, music production and artist development. Tess’s latest endeavours include recording for her upcoming EP release, performing shows solo as well as with her band, and collaborating with other songwriters and producers both locally and internationally. Passionate about being a role model for young girls, Tess’s unique authentic character and raw live performances inspire confidence, humanity, and self-acceptance.
