This 78th season is dedicated to the legacy of Friends longtime volunteer leader, Mr. Eric Wilson, who served for more than 60 years.

THE SUBSCRIPTION ORDER/S YOU CHOOSE WILL BE E-MAILED TO YOU AS AN E-TICKET APPROX ONE WEEK AFTER YOUR PURCHASE.

During the purchase of a PYO4 package, you will be asked which concerts you would like to attend. In the text field provided, simply type the concert names, separated by a comma. For example - "Takacs, Zemlinksky, Busch, Bennewitz".

This only applies to the PYO4 (pick your own 4 concerts) series. For full subscriptions (10 concerts), please place "N/A" in the text field. 

Once you have completed your order, a V-Tix Online representative will send your tickets via email or by post the following Friday or Monday. Please allow up to two weeks for mailed tickets.

FRIENDS OF CHAMBER MUSIC 2025/2026 SEASON – Subscriptions and Tickets
Friends of Chamber Music welcome you to our 2025/2026 season. Each season, we offer a series of great concerts featuring internationally renowned artists playing extraordinary music from the rich and diverse chamber music repertoire. Join our enthusiastic and devoted audience members who become our friends – some of whom have been attending our concerts for many years. Friends of Chamber Music started presenting top tier chamber music experiences in Vancouver in 1948 – so this is now our 78th season. And to mark the passing of Eric Wilson, who helped steer the organization for decades, we dedicate the season to his memory. So please join us to enjoy music from both new and returning chamber music groups, all of whom play exquisitely. This season, we welcome back the Takács, Dover, Esmé, Mandelring, Modigliani and Casals Quartets. Each of these groups were warmly received by our audiences during their previous visits. We also look forward to hearing the Aris Quartet, Calder Quartet and Czechia’s Trio Bohémo, each playing for Friends for the first time!

All concerts take place at The Vancouver Playhouse, 600 Hamilton Street, Vancouver, BC. All people entering the venue must comply with any public health or other VCT requirements in place at the time of the concert. No refunds or exchanges. All concerts are festival seating.

A limited amount of accessible seating is available at the Playhouse. Please contact in advance of purchasing tickets to ensure that you can be accommodated for the concerts(s) you would like to attend. Artists and programming are subject to change without notice.

Friends of Chamber Music is a not-for-profit volunteer-operated society. A season's subscription purchase automatically entitles the purchaser to a one-year membership in the Friends of Chamber Music.

We are profoundly grateful for the support of our generous subscribers, donors, and sponsors. Ticket sales alone do not cover our full concert costs so your contributions help assure our future. All donations of $20 or more are tax deductible. Registered charity #18932474RP000. Donations can be made online using the “Canada Helps” link or by cheque or credit card in the mail.
