Welcome to the Second Film and Theatre Showcase of the school year! We are excited to bring you new and exciting projects that the film and theatre students have been working on!

At the top of the evening, please join us in the auditorium for the Best of Dream Big 2024 films! There will be a mixture of short films, written and created by the After School Film program and some films made by students in the Film classes. Every night will be a different showing so you will be in for a treat!  The After School Film students have been working on these films since the beginning of the school year and have had the opportunity to work with a variety of Film mentors in scriptwriting, lighting, editing, etc, alongside Ms Browne.

Doors open at 6:45pm and films begin promptly at 7pm.

A quick intermission follows the films, and the audience will move in to the Drama Studio to watch "Oh, What a Lovely War!" directed by the father-son duo - Mike and Seamus Fera. This vignette style play is satirical, funny and deeply moving combining music, dance, singing and sketches to create a picture of life for those on the front line and those behind it during World War 1. This large ensemble of actors have been rehearsing since December and are excited to take you on this theatrical journey. 

Programs like these are extremely valuable in schools to maintain and create connection and encourage accountablity and creativity. Please consider donating a little extra to continue to keep these programs running - funding this year has been challenging and in order to continue to provide optimal oppprtunities for students we need your support!
